UN R108 change reports — Retreaded tyres for passenger cars and their trailers
UN Regulation No. 108 (ECE R108) — Uniform provisions concerning the approval for the production of retreaded pneumatic tyres for motor vehicles and their trailers.

- 01 series — Supplement 2
The definition in paragraph 2.48. is deleted, and paragraph 2.51. now defines “Material supplier” in place of “Material manufacturer / material supplier”.

Principal grooves (paragraph 2.14.1.) are now the wide tread grooves positioned in the central zone of the tyre tread, and new paragraph 2.15. defines “Tread depth”.

Snow test requirements and Annex 9 (snow test procedures) are deleted; paragraph 2.55. now refers to paragraph 6.1. of UN Regulation No. [XXX]. For the approval, the documents of paragraphs 6.6.3.1. and 6.6.3.3. now include a copy of the UN Regulation No. [XXX] certificate(s).

- 00 series — Supplement 6
New paragraph 2.3.3. adds the category of use “Special use tyre”. New paragraph 6.9. gives the characteristics a tyre needs to be classified as a special use tyre or a professional off-road tyre.
