UN R152 change reports — Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS)
UN Regulation No. 152 (ECE R152) — Uniform provisions concerning the approval of motor vehicles with regard to the Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS) for M1 and N1 vehicles.
02 series
- 02 series — Supplement 6
The AEBS must be deactivated upon activation of an ADS feature and automatically reactivated upon deactivation of an ADS feature.
- 02 series — Supplement 5
Paragraph 5.4.1.1. now requires the AEBS function to be automatically reinstated “at each initiation of the powertrain”, instead of “at the initiation of each new engine start (or run cycle, as relevant)”.
- 02 series — Supplement 1
If the AEBS function can be manually deactivated, it must be automatically reinstated at the initiation of each new “engine start/run cycle”, not “ignition cycle”. This requirement does not apply when a new engine start/run cycle is performed automatically, for example the operation of a stop/start system.
