Supplement 1 → 2

Adopted at the WP.29 190th sessionEntry into force 2024-01-05
What changed
  • In Annex 5, Tables A1 and B1, the examples for spoofing of messages by impersonation now name “V2X cooperative awareness or manoeuvre coordination messages”. Before, they named “802.11p V2X during platooning”.
Why
  • The informal working group agreed that using “802.11p” to refer to V2X communications is out of date.
  • The experts note that platooning is a niche V2X operation and not widely used, and suggest more mainstream examples.
