For vehicle types of 8,000 to 12,000 kg maximum mass, paragraph 4.2.2. sets how to demonstrate equivalent EDR triggering.

New paragraph 0.5. says that Supplement 1 is introduced to take vehicles of categories X and Y into account. It also takes into account vehicles which can be operated either by a driver or an ADS.
