Under paragraph 3.4., removable interior fittings may be removed if the above requirements are not fulfilled when they were present. The requirements of paragraph 3. must then be verified again and fulfilled. In such a case, the corresponding information must now be included in Table 1 of Appendix 3 of this annex. Before this supplement, the paragraph referred to Table 2 and/or 3 of Appendix 3. The rest of the paragraph does not change.

Reasons given by the proposer: Expert from OICA, in informal document GRSP-76-45. GRSP adopted the proposal in GRSP-76-45 at its 76th session and requested the secretariat to submit it to the June 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/76, para. 13).
Appendix 3 only contains one table, referenced as “Table 1”. According to the proposal, paragraph 3.4. just clarifies that some parts of the Regulation are not missing.
