What changed: New paragraph 1.3. says that vehicles approved in accordance with Regulation No. 161 on Unauthorized Use are deemed to comply with this Regulation.
Why: The aim of the amendment is to make sure that approvals granted to the new regulation on protection against unauthorized use are recognized.
This new regulation was created by the splitting of UN Regulation No. 116.

New paragraph 1.3. says that vehicles approved in accordance with Regulation No. 161 on Unauthorized Use are deemed to comply with this Regulation. Before this supplement, the Regulation had no paragraph 1.3. Paragraph 1.2. gives the same rule for vehicles approved in accordance with Part I of Regulation No. 116.

Vehicles approved in accordance with the provisions of Regulation No. 161 on Unauthorized Use are deemed to comply with this Regulation.
