New paragraph 1.3. says that this UN Regulation does not apply to vehicles of category Y. It also does not apply to vehicles of category X that do not have a manual mode, intended to be operated on-board the vehicle.

New paragraph 2.9.4. defines the “Subsection Frontal Visible Volume (SFVV)”. It is a portion of the assessment volume that includes the volume directly in front of the vehicle, between the offside and nearside planes.
