References to Addendum 6 of M.R.1 (paras. 2.13. to 2.15.)

Paragraphs 2.13. to 2.15. define “Three-dimensional reference system”, “H-point Manikin” and “R-Point”. These definitions now refer to Addendum 6 of Mutual Resolution No. 1 (M.R.1). Before this supplement, paragraph 2.13. referred to appendix 2 to Annex 1 of R.E.3, and paragraphs 2.14. and 2.15. referred to Annex 1 of R.E.3. A new footnote says that Addendum 6 of M.R.1 is document ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1101/Amend.5. The X, Y and Z axis designations in paragraph 2.13. do not change.

"Three-dimensional reference system" means a coordinate system as defined by appendix 2 to Annex Addendum 6 of Mutual Resolution No. 1 of the Consolidated Resolution on the Construction of Vehicles (R.E.3M.R.1). In this framework the longitudinal axis of the vehicle is designated the X axis, the lateral axis is the Y axis and the vertical axis is the Z axis.
"H-point Manikin" means a three-dimensional H-Point Machine as defined in Annex Addendum 6 of Mutual Resolution No. 1 of the Consolidated Resolution on the Construction of Vehicles (R.E.3M.R.1).
