Q1What changed7 changes
Lamps that stay switched ON with secondary driving beams (para. 6.1.7.)
When a vehicle has secondary driving-beam(s) approved under UN Regulations Nos. 113 or 149, at least one listed lamp must stay switched ON with them. The listed lamps include the passing-beam(s) and a primary driving beam approved under UN Regulations Nos. 113 or 149. The list also includes a driving-beam of Class A or B approved under the 01 and subsequent series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 149. This rule for secondary driving beams is new in this supplement. The sentence that lets the passing-beam(s) remain ON with the driving-beam(s) now says “switched ON” instead of “illuminated”.
Class C or V headlamps of UN Regulation No. 149 (para. 6.2.1.)
Paragraph 6.2.1. now also lists headlamps of Class C or V of the 01 and subsequent series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 149. The entry for Class A, B, AS, BS, CS, DS or ES of UN Regulation No. 149 now ends with a semicolon.
