Reasons

  • The proposal aimed to extend the condition of an influence on the results of the impact test to all criteria described under paragraph 2.1.

    Sources (2)
“This proposal extends the condition of the necessity of an influence on the results of the impact test to all criteria described under paragraph 2.1.”
“aimed at extending the condition of the necessity of an influence on the test results of the impact test to all criteria”
  • The criteria in paragraphs 2.1.1. to 2.1.9. are relevant to determining which variations of a vehicle can be covered under a single vehicle type. For these variations, it is not necessary to apply for a separate approval type. In the earlier text, several subparagraphs said differences only cause a new type of vehicle if they affect or negatively affect the impact test results. Other subparagraphs did not say this.
