Q1What changed2 changes
Approval number and Schedule 4 of the Agreement (para. 5.1.)
An approval number must be assigned to each vehicle or ESA type-approved in accordance with Schedule 4 of the Agreement (E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.3). Before this supplement, paragraph 5.1. had two more sentences. One sentence said what the first two digits of the approval number (at present 06) indicate. The other sentence said that a Contracting Party may not assign the same approval number to another type of vehicle or ESA. The supplement deletes both sentences.
Conformity of production and Schedule 1 of the Agreement (para. 9.)
The conformity of production procedures must comply with those set out in Schedule 1 of the Agreement (E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.3). They must also comply with the requirements that follow in paragraph 9. Before this supplement, paragraph 9. referred to the Agreement, Appendix 2 (E/ECE/324-E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.2).
