Q1What changed9 changes
Name “K15 filling unit” (para. 6.17.10.6. and Annex 9, Figure 3)
Paragraph 6.17.10.6. and the title of Annex 9, Figure 3 now say “K15 filling unit” instead of “light vehicle Euro filling unit”. Paragraph 6.17.10.6. gives the specific provisions for the K15 filling unit (Annex 9 – Figure 3).
Impact test for the J15, K15 and heavy-duty vehicle Euro filling units (para. 6.17.10.8. and Annex 9, para. 7.)
The J15, K15 and heavy-duty vehicle Euro filling units must comply with the impact test as described in Annex 9, paragraph 7. Before this supplement, the text required the Euro filling unit to comply with the impact test as described in Annex 9, paragraph 7.4. The supplement renumbers this paragraph from 6.17.10.7.3. to 6.17.10.8. Annex 9, paragraph 7 now reads “Impact test requirements for the J15, K15 and heavy-duty vehicle Euro filling units”.
New Figure 6: connecting area of the J15 filling unit (Annex 9)
Annex 9 has a new Figure 6, “Connecting area of the J15 filling unit”, after Figure 5. Paragraph 6.17.10.3. requires the design and dimensions of the connecting area of the filling unit to comply with those in the figures in Annex 9.
RegVault Note on the number of paragraph 6.17.10.9.
A new RegVault Note says that Supplement 1 to the 03 series renumbered paragraph 6.17.10.7.3. as 6.17.10.8. The 03 series had already given this number to another paragraph. That paragraph is about the filling unit of vehicles of category M1. RegVault numbers it 6.17.10.9., as Supplement 2 to the 03 series later does. This number is not part of the official text of this version, and the wording of the paragraph does not change.
